I re launched Firefox but it did not regenerated the file. I moved the cookies.txt file out of the profile folder. When I go to the place where it stores the remembered passwords for websites it is empty. It asks me if I want to remember this password? I say Remember, but every time it asks me again.
It remembers my username, password and the fact I have ticked the stay signed in button. I have keep until they expire with cookies. I am not clearing authenticated sections. Google is a mega-corporation and its search engine is the most used on the planet so it's no surprise that their email service Gmail had over 1.2.
